U.S. Poultry & Egg Association
The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the world's largest and most active poultry organization. They represent the entire industry as an "All Feather" association. Membership includes producers and processors of broilers, turkeys, ducks, eggs, and breeding stock, as well as allied companies. Formed in 1947, the association has affiliations in 27 states and member companies worldwide. U.S. Poultry also sponsors the International Poultry Expo.
The National Chicken Council
The National Chicken Council (NCC), based in Washington, D.C., is the national, non-profit trade association representing the U.S. chicken industry. NCC is a full-service trade association that promotes and protects the interests of the chicken industry and is the industry's voice before Congress and federal agencies. NCC member companies include chicken producer / processors, poultry distributors, and allied industry firms. The producer / processors account for approximately 95 percent of the chickens produced in the United States.
The Poultry Federation
The Poultry Federation (TPF) is a tri-state association (Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma) representing the poultry and egg industry. TPF promotes and protects the interests of the industry and represents a unified voice in state governments.
Virginia Poultry Federation
Viriginia Poultry Federation is a non-profit, statewide trade association founded in 1925. VPF represents all sectors of the poultry industry, from farmers, to processors, to businesses that provide goods and services to poultry industry. VPF's mission is to promote a positive business climate for the poultry and egg industry in Virginia through effective government and public relations, youth programs, membership services, and educational activities.
National Poultry & Food Distributors Association
The National Poultry & Food Distributors Association provides unique networking opportunities where members can exchange ideas and discuss challenges and opportunities facing the poultry and food industries. Their Mission is to promote the Poultry & Food Distributors, Processors and Allied Industries by bringing them together and providing a forum to foster long term business relationships.
USA Poultry & Egg Export Council
The USA Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) is a non-profit, industry-sponsored trade organization dedicated to increasing exports of U.S. poultry and egg food products in all foreign markets founded in 1984 with a grant from the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association. USAPEEC is also a cooperator organization sanctioned by the Foreign Agricultural Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administers export promotion funds allocated under the USDA's Market Access Program and Foreign Market Development program. World headquarters are located in Stone Mountain, Georgia, near Atlanta with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Moscow, Shanghai, Monterrey and Mexico City, and retains consultants in Johannesburg, Seoul, Tokyo, Europe and the Middle East.
